About Kyle

I'm a lawyer by day and self-taught painter by...mood. For the past 15+ years, I've been crafting abstract pieces based on encounters in life that inspire me. A dramatic landscape, gallery piece, or experience—sometimes in combination—can set off a flurry of brainstorming and brushstrokes. My approach is both deliberative and whimsical. I paint until the painting feels "right," and I enjoy hearing what other people take away from my art. In 2025, I fulfilled a bucket list item: acceptance into the Minnesota State Fair's 114th Fine Arts Exhibition!
